ACADEMY: Fire finish 1-0-2 against Indiana Fire

The Chicago Fire Academy teams welcomed their Indiana Fire brethren to Toyota Park on May 14 in USSDA play.

The U-18s kicked off the tripleheader by battling to a scoreless draw, and stand fifth in their division (1.75 ppg) with matches remaining. In the ensuing match, Andrew Akindele scored the lone goal in the U-16s' 1-0 win, keeping them in third place on 2.05 ppg. The U-14s side drew, 1-1, thanks in part to a goal by Josue Fernandez.

The three sides next head to the Buckeye State to face the Internationals on May 21 and the Crew SC Academy on May 22.
