The World Baseball Classic has been as exciting this year as any year’s past that I can recall. A lot of the bravado can be directly attributed to the Chicago Cubs own Ednel Javier Baez.
Javy’s rise to stardom and popularity is fueled by his passion for the game. That passion shows in every tag he makes, every base he steals and every laser beam throw he uncorks. So if tonight’s championship matchup of the USA and Puerto Rico feels more like “Javy takes on the world,” isn’t it pretty apparent why?
