The Mets made a big splash on Monday evening, signing reliever Devin Williams to a three-year deal.

The reliever market hasn’t seen much action yet, although the Cubs helped kick things off by signing Phil Maton less than two weeks ago. Williams continues the trend of players who were traded to the New York Yankees and then left in free agency for the crosstown-rival Mets just a year later.
