Add another pitch to Yu Darvish’s 10+ pitch arsenal. The King of Cubs Twitter just revealed a new pitch that looks like a Kyle Hendricks changeup thrown 15 mph faster.
Darvish calls his new 93 mph fastball/splitter/changeup thing the “Supreme.” Take a look for yourself.
I don’t know what whiffle ball magic I just witnessed, but baseballs aren’t supposed to move like that. In the words of Yu Darvish, “…your fastball is my changeup.”
