Watch: Mark Bellhorn hits two home runs in the same inning

Former Chicago Cubs utility man Mark Bellhorn hit just 69 career home runs, 37 of them as a right-hander and 24 as a left-hander.

On this date in 2002, Bellhorn hit one of each–both in the same inning against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. At the time, Bellhorn became just the second player in Major League history to accomplish the feat, the first being Carlos Bearga in 1993.

Since Bellhorn did it in 2002, current Kansas City Royals designated hitter Kendrys Morales also joined the club, in 2012, then as a member of the Los Angeles Angels.
