On May 9, 2015, a young up-and-comer named Kris Bryant hit his very first big league home run. It was a three-run blast off Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Kyle Lohse. It was a big blast, and one that signaled his arrival for the Cubs.
Now, a mere three years later, Bryant drove in his 100th career home run on the anniversary of his very first. He is only the 22nd player in Cubs history to hit that milestone, and managed to do it in less time than some very impressive company:
