While nothing is confirmed at all, according to Tommy Birch (Iowa Cubs beat writer) Tsuyoshi Wada is a healthy scratch for the I-Cubs.
There is no words as to why he was scratched, but connecting the dots, he might get called up to the Chicago Cubs active roster.
In order to do that, the Cubs will need to clear a spot on the roster. The two most likely candidates would be Tracis Wood and Edwin Jackson getting designated for assignment.
I am not sure if he would be better suited out of the bullpen in long relief, or another five inning starter.
