The day finally came for Kolt Kyler.
The 9-year-old Cubs fan from Indiana – who went viral in April after his dad, Andy, surprised him with a pair of Cubs tickets for all his hard work – visited Wrigley Field for the first time on Saturday.
When Cubs players got whiff of the video, which was tweeted by Kolt’s sister’s Hannah, Anthony Rizzo offered him passes to watch batting practice while Jon Lester upgraded his seats behind home plate. That happened, and more, on Saturday against the division rival St. Louis Cardinals.
Andy joked that Kolt hasn’t stopped smiling since receiving his original Cubs tickets.
