The Starlin Castro hate is strong among fans of the Chicago Cubs. Throughout social media I have seen countless fans calling for the trade of the struggling short stop, saying as much as they wanted him traded for “a bag of baseballs” and even making things personal, calling him a “piece of shit”. I’ve always hated when fans call players that because just because they are playing poorly, that does not mean they are bad people.
Because of fans reactions throughout the season, and a good percentage of his Cubs career, I wanted to see just how badly fans wanted Castro out of Chicago, and how badly they hated him.
