DYERSVILLE, Iowa — The Cubs, of course, aren’t going to be anywhere near baseball’s postseason in 2022.
But they got their moment in the sun on a national stage in the 2022 MLB Field of Dreams game Thursday evening, and if you squinted real hard you could see at least the beginnings of the “Next Great Cubs Team,” as Jed Hoyer likes to call it.
