Cubs President of Baseball Operations, Theo Epstein named Sporting News Executive of the Year
Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer are in Scottsdale this week for the GM Meetings. And on Monday night, Epstein was named by his peers as Baseball’s Executive of the Year.
Voting for the award that has been around since 1936 took place at the end of the regular season. The Cubs won 103 games and the National League Central Division title over the course of the 162-game schedule.
The 103 wins was the Cubs highest win total since 1910.
