It seems almost every season we are witness to an unlikely player pitching an unassuming masterpiece. Alec Mills was that guy yesterday, no-hitting the Brewers as the Cubs romped 12-0.
Mills is not overpowering and, for at least the first half of yesterday’s game, didn’t seem like he was particularly fooling Milwaukee hitters.
