The Cubs have opened an outdoor patio on Addison

For the last few years, there has been a bar/gathering place on the Addison Street side of Wrigley Field. Originally called “Captain Morgan Club,” it was re-branded “Draft Kings SportsZone” for the last couple of seasons.

This temporary edifice was torn down last winter as part of the ongoing 1060 Project. Originally, there were plans to build a two-story “annex” to the ballpark in that area near the corner of Addison & Sheffield, but those plans are on hold for the time being as the Cubs assess the project, what they’ve built, and whether anything further is needed in that part of the property.
