Every once in a while, I see some player on another team and remember “Oh yeah, that guy used to be with the Cubs.” So I started to wondered how many players there were that I’ve totally forgot ever wore the blue.
There aren’t many since 2007, which is when I started to write about the Cubs minor league system here and I had to start semi-obsessively following the Cubs transaction wire. Plus, those names are fresher in my memory. But when I looked at the ten years or so before 2007, then some more names popped up.
