Seiya Suzuki blasted a solo HR (off Brandon Hughes) over the LF bullpen and onto the berm, Ismael Mena drilled an RBI triple (also off Brandon Hughes), Yidel Diaz belted a two-run double, and SP Jackson Ferris hurled three innings of no run / no hit ball with four strikeouts (three swinging), in a Cactus League Extended Spring Training intrasquad game played at Sloan Park Wednesday morning.
The game ended in a 3-3 tie.
Suzuki played RF for the entire game (although no balls were hit to him) and batted four times, popping out to short right-center (P-4) in his first PA, drawing a walk his second time up, unleashing the Seiya Samurai Swat in his third AB, and grounding out 5-3 in his final PA.
