Scoring Change Removes 2 Earned Runs from Cade Horton’s Record

Cade Horton recently made the fourth start and fifth appearance of his MLB career, all of which have resulted in Cubs wins. The rookie has yet to allow more than three runs in a game, including this past Tuesday when he got the win by going 5.1 innings against the Nationals with three earned runs* on six hits and a walk. Except that he actually only allowed one earned.

What was originally ruled a double for Daylen Lile in the bottom of the 3rd has been switched to an error on Michael Busch.
