Kudos to you if you made it through the entirety of that game. You were rewarded with the best start of any starter this season (at least definitely top 3), and tortured with a flat-lined offensive effort. After a 61 run, 7-1 homestand.. whatever, I suppose. Right? If this one stings more than you think it should, honestly, I say blame Kyle Hendricks for being too good. This team clearly isn’t built to score runs unless they are down. Scoring first and adding on is simply too advanced a skill for Chili Davis to convey to these children.
