Ryne Sandberg Passes Away at 65

The Cubs announced on Monday evening that Ryne Sandberg has passed away at the age of 65.

In his 15 years with the Chicago Cubs, Sandberg recorded 2,385 hits and 282 home runs. He won the 1984 NL MVP award, earned nine Gold Glove Awards, and received seven Silver Slugger Awards. Sandberg was a ten-time All-Star and won the 1990 Home Run Derby.
