Rafael Ortega snaps Cubs’ 13-game home losing streak with walk-off homer

It had been a while since “Go Cubs Go” blasted over the speakers at Wrigley Field and after 13 straight losses at home, the Cubs decided to break their home losing streak at the Friendly Confines with a bang courtesy of Rafael Ortega.

Ortega played hero for the Cubs on Monday as his two-run, walk-off homer sent the Cubs to a 6-4 win over the Rockies and snapping their franchise-record 13 game skid at home.

“It’s no secret that we haven’t won [at home] recently. We haven’t been doing very well,” Ortega said after the Cubs’ victory.
