Pete Crow-Armstrong was absolutely electric during the 2025 season, slugging 31 home runs on his way to a 109 wRC+ campaign. As exciting as he was at the plate, the 23-year-old was even better in the field. Coming up as a prospect, scouts and analysts touted PCA as someone with the potential to become one of the sport’s top defenders. He has become exactly that, winning his first career Gold Glove Award after an outstanding 2025 season.
It seemed as though every game, Crow-Armstrong made another spectacular play in center field. He led all of baseball with 24 outs above average (OAA) and a league-best 22 runs prevented.
