PCA Exits Early After Fouling Ball off Knee

Pete Crow-Armstrong had one of the Cubs’ three hits Saturday afternoon, but another ball off his bat may have been more consequential. The potential Platinum Glove center fielder fouled a two-strike sinker from PJ Poulin squarely off his right knee in the 6th inning and was attended to by Craig Counsell and a trainer before eventually drawing a walk. PCA remained in the game to run, but was replaced in center by Kevin Alcántara in the top of the 7th inning.
