Patrick Wisdom has been out since late spring training with a back strain, but he’s been raking for Triple-A Iowa and may be headed to Chicago for their extended weekend series against the Marlins. Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register reported that Wisdom left Wednesday’s game in the 4th inning, then noted that he was heading to the locker room with his gear and did not appear to be injured.
Patrick Wisdom now heading back to the Principal Park locker room with his bats and glove. Doesn’t appear to be hurt.
He came out of the game in the 4th inning after a BB, 2B and run scored.
