It’s Friday and the Pirates have decided that they have figured out who is to blame for their rough season start, and the person they’ve fixated on is manager Derek Shelton. Managers are typically the ones to take the blame when a team is on a downward slide, but this is hardly the first time the Pirates have had a bad season.
The Pirates have fired Shelton and bench manager Don Kelly has stepped into the role.
