Orioles Agree to Terms with RHP Yovani Gallardo, Reportedly Determined to Sign Dexter Fowler

According to multiple reports, the Orioles agreed to terms on a three-year, $35 million contract with RHP Yovani Gallardo. The deal includes an option for a fourth year worth $13 million, and is pending a physical, which is never a given when it comes to the Peter Angelos owned Orioles. Gallardo will make $9 million this season, $11 million in 2017 and $13 million in 2018. The fourth year, $13 million club option has a $2 million buyout.

Gallardo’s physical is scheduled for Monday. According to Ken Rosenthal, preliminary medicals raised no issues for the Orioles’ staff.
