MLB reportedly changes course on ticket policy, allowing for refunds

Major League Baseball still hasn’t officially canceled any games, electing instead to refer to the lost month (so far) of baseball as postponed games.

The prospects of a 162-game season are in serious doubt and the likelihood of having fans at all of those games is remote. To that point, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said she could see a way that baseball is played in Chicago this summer, but said it probably is without fans.

So what happens with all those tickets fans had for 2020?

Previously, MLB was not issuing refunds and teams instructed fans to hold onto tickets in case they needed to be transferred.
