It hasn't exactly been a fast-paced week with the MLB trade deadline on Thursday, and that is starting to become the trend. The fact that the Chicago Cubs haven't made a move yet isn't a complete surprise, and that is the case for most contenders across Major League Baseball. Former MLB general manager Jim Bowden seems desperate for some trades to start happening, as he provided yet another trade deadline intel drop for The Athletic, but it reads as if he is bored and wants to provide more confirmation of why he is out of baseball.
Bowden does offer 10 predictions ahead of the deadline, and one of the first moves he forecasts is Eugenio Suárez landing with the Cincinnati Reds.
