With baseball’s future in 2020 uncertain, experts are trying to determine how to get as many games as possible into as short a time period as they might have available to them, and the ideas range from clever to bizarre (and several are likely from Rob Manfred’s dream journal about how to speed up pace of play).
In a post by Mark Polishuk at MLB Trade Rumors, the question of tied games was raised, and to whether or not MLB should allow them for the sake of the abbreviated 2020 season. Al wrote about it here, too, on Friday.
