Marquee Sports Network will carry 28 Cubs spring training games

Unless you have access to the new Marquee Sports Network, Cubs fans will start feeling TV withdrawal soon. Most Cubs spring games will be on the network co-owned by the club and Sinclair Broadcasting.

Starting with the Feb. 22 opener against the Athletics at Sloan Park, 28 spring games will be carried by Marquee. ESPN’s broadcast of the March 2 game vs. Joe Maddon and the Los Angeles Angels is the only non-Marquee matchup.

WSCR-AM 670 will carry 10 spring games.

Also, the White Sox announced 161 of 162 regular-season games will be carried by NBC Sports Chicago.
