Marquee Announces DTC Streamer for $20 Per Month

We’ve covered this topic pretty exhaustively in the past, with the most recent piece coming exactly one month ago. I had guessed at the time that the Marquee’s direct-to-consumer streaming service would cost more than the $19.99 the Padres are charging, but turns out it’ll be exactly the same. This offering should get the Cubs to more cord-cutting households and might get others to drop their current cable providers, assuming some folks have the subscription they do just to make sure they have their team.

Marquee Sports Network today announced the introduction of a direct-to-consumer (DTC) subscription offering, providing in-market Cubs fans a new option to stream live Cubs games and original Marquee Sports Network programming.
