Marlins 6, Cubs 3: Where did the offense go?

You guys are all going to want to talk about Kyle Hendricks and what to do with his rotation spot and by all means, feel free.

What I want to talk about is how the Cubs bullpen failed to keep the game close and the offense completely vanished after the fourth inning — just one hit. Those are the real reasons the Cubs lost 6-3 to the Marlins on a beautiful mid-April afternoon at Wrigley Field, not the fact that Hendricks got hit fairly hard, again.

Hendricks served up another home run in the second inning, and my goodness that ball went a long way [VIDEO].
