Joe Maddon’s time with the Cubs might have come to an end, but he isn’t done relishing in one of the greatest victories in the organization’s 144-year history, especially if it means doing so for a good cause.
Maddon, the former Cubs manager who is now with the Angels, will join reporter Bob Costas on Cameo next week to discuss Game 7 of the 2016 World Series in an attempt to help raise funds for COVID-19 relief.
The discussion of the historic series against the Indians will take place Tuesday at 10 p.m. following ESPN’s broadcast of the suspenseful 10-inning win.
