The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association has announced the 30 preliminary winners of the 2018 Heart & Hustle Award.
Javier Baez was the Cubs winner while Yolmer Sanchez won it for the White Sox.
The award honors active MLB players who demonstrate a passion for the game of baseball and best exemplify the values, spirit and traditions of the game. And, it’s the only award that is voted on by former MLB players.
All teams from the American and National League have one representative receive this award, and for the White Sox and Cubs, these were no brainers.
