Jameson Taillon's start again plagued by home runs as Cubs lose 3-1 to Marlins

Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon took a different approach against Kyle Stowers the second time he faced him but had the same result: a home run.

In the Cubs’ 3-1 loss to the Marlins on Wednesday, Taillon gave up three home runs, two to Stowers.

“He’s hot right now,” Taillon said. “He’s swinging really well. I probably need to realize that and understand that while I’m out there, and just say, if there’s one guy in this lineup right now that probably shouldn’t beat us, it’s going to be him.
