If you didn’t care for my suggestion of Josh Lewin to succeed Len Kasper in the Cubs TV booth, here’s an idea you might like better.
Brian Anderson has been the Milwaukee Brewers’ TV play-by-play announcer since 2007, though he often misses some Brewers games because of his duties with TBS and TNT for NBA games. In fact, he missed almost all of Milwaukee’s 2020 season because the NBA playoffs went late into September.
Anderson has a pleasant PBP voice and certainly is familiar with the Cubs given the many games he’s called for Brewers TV against them over the years.
