Four Cubs pitchers — Zach Davies, Ryan Tepera, Andrew Chafin and Craig Kimbrel — combine for a no-hitter over the Dodgers Thursday night in Los Angeles.

That's a rare enough feat that I thought you'd like to see some details about the 14 other combined no-hitters in major-league history.

June 23, 1917, first game, Boston Red Sox: Babe Ruth and Ernie Shore. The first of these is perhaps the most famous combined no-no. Ruth walked Washington Senators leadoff hitter Ray Morgan and argued balls and strikes so vehemently that he was ejected.
