The MLB Draft is now over and that means it's time for the Eugene Emeralds to take the field. The Emeralds are the Cubs Short-Season A team that plays in the Northwest League. The start their season Friday night at PK Park against the Boise Hawks, the Rockies affiliate (and former Cubs affiliate). PK Park is also the home of the Oregon Ducks baseball team and is considered a state-of-the-art facility.
