Cubs place LHP Brian Duensing on 10-day DL … RHP Dillon Maples recalled from Triple-A Iowa
The Cubs made a predictable roster move Sunday prior to the finale of the three-game series with the Twins. The Cubs placed the struggling Brian Duensing on the 10-day disabled list with left shoulder fatigue. RHP Dillion Maples was recalled from Iowa to take Duensing’s spot in the pen.
Dillon Maples will be available for the Cubs as the teams concludes its three-game series against the Minnesota Twins at Wrigley Field.
