The Cubs announced two roster moves Monday afternoon prior to the opener of the three-game series against the Dodgers at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs placed left-handed pitcher Brian Duensing on the bereavement list and recalled left-handed pitcher Rob Zastryzny from Triple-A Iowa.
Zastryzny will be available for the Cubs as Joe Maddon’s team begins its three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Wrigley Field.
The 26-year-old Rob Zastryzny joins the Cubs for the second time this year, spending one day with the club on May 8 and tossing two scoreless innings of relief that night against the Miami Marlins.
