Cubs place RHP Anthony Bass on 10-day DL, Select contract of RHP James Norwood from Triple-A Iowa
The Cubs made two roster moves on Sunday prior to the finale of the three-game series with the Reds. The Cubs have placed RHP Anthony Bass on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to July 5, with an undisclosed illness.
RHP James Norwood has been called up from Triple-A Iowa to take Bass’ spot in the bullpen.
The Cubs selected the contract of James Norwood, added him to the 40-man and active roster.
