If you’re a fan of adorable kids doing extrodinary things, then you’re probably as excited as I am about the return of the Little League World Series. It’s a time where we get to see some insane plays that make us ask “wait, how old it this kid?” and also to remind us of a time when baseball was all about fun. It has also, of course, yielded heroes like Big Al.
For some of us, it’s also a great time to reflect on our own Little League careers, ones that likely did not end with big competitions, but rather participation trophies and a life of regretting that moment you tried to steal home when you had never even been fast enough to steal second before.
