Frustrations are mounting for the Chicago Cubs' offense as the team tries to navigate through the top of their starting lineup being in a collective slump. While Kyle Tucker's slump has drawn the most attention, it has been a disastrous August for Pete Crow-Armstrong.
Crow-Armstrong was 0-for-4 during the Cubs' 5-1 loss on Tuesday night, and it only added to what has been a miserable stretch of games for the Cubs' All-Star center fielder. After Tuesday's loss, Crow-Armstrong only has 3 hits through 38 plate appearances this month and is striking out over 36 percent of the time.
