Cubs walked off in St. Louis, fall to ghastly 15 games over .500

The Cubs lost 4-3 to the St. Louis Cardinals Monday night on a walkoff home run by Randal Grichuk in the bottom of the ninth inning at Busch Stadium.

Describe this game in three words: Gerrit Cole Curse

Another curse? Seriously?: The Cubs (29-14) have lost three straight and five of their last seven games. It all started with a 2-1 loss to the Pirates on May 15, after which Pittsburgh starter/hex thrower Gerrit Cole said he didn’t think of the Cubs as the best team in the league. I guess someone should’ve been worried when he asked for some of Kris Bryant’s blood to give to his fire god.
