Cubs Walk-up Music: Featuring Drake, Future, and Juliana Zobrist

This story originally ran on April 11th after the Cubs’ Opening Night game versus the Cincinnati Reds.

This year’s Cubs walk-up music selections were ‘dropped’ Monday night at the team’s Opening Night win over Cincinnati. Our contributor Rahul Nallappa had his Shazam app handy. Either that or he has diverse taste in music and exceptional recognition skills.

Below is the track (or tracks) for each player and a handy Spotify playlist with each song (if available).

If we missed any, let us know on Twitter @TheAthleticChi.

  • Dexter Fowler, CF: “Moolah” (Young Greatness), “Jumpman” (Drake)
  • Jason Heyward, RF: “Right Hand” (Drake), “Ain’t No Time” (Future)
  • Kris Bryant, 3B: “Gone” (Donnis)
  • Anthony Rizzo, 1B: “Ando en la Versace” (Omega El Fuerte)*, “Drunk On Your Love” (Brett Eldredge), “Panda” (Desiigner), “Intoxicated” (Martin Solveig and GTA), “Hello” (Adele)
  • Ben Zobrist, 2B: “Alive” (Juliana Zobrist)

  • Addison Russell, SS: “Who’s With Me” (Flo Rida)

We’ll update this list as players who did not hit Monday night get their turn at the bat or as songs change.
