Kris Bryant had been on the injured list since August 19 with an injured finger on his left hand.
Today, the Cubs announced Bryant had been activated off the IL. Also activated from the injured list: outfielder Steven Souza Jr.
We don’t have a lineup for today’s game yet, but manager David Ross said earlier on radio that Bryant would be in it.
And, the Cubs’ newest acquisitions: Infielder/outfielder José Martínez, outfielder Cameron Maybin and left-handed pitcher Josh Osich have been added to the active roster.
