The National League Central seems to be down to a two-team race with the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers vying for not only the top spot in the division, but the top spot in the National League. While the Cubs haven't exactly been able to put away the Brewers this season, it would seem that another rival, the St. Louis Cardinals, can be passed over for the remainder of the season.
The Cardinals enter Monday 8.5 games behind the Cubs for first place in the NL Central, and it would seem that they are on a path toward selling at the MLB trade deadline.
