Trevor Williams had an appendectomy Sunday morning and will miss tomorrow's start. Starter to open the Padres series is TBD. Not sure how long he'll miss.

Williams, as noted, had been scheduled to start Monday afternoon at Wrigley Field against the San Diego Padres.
I suppose we’ll find out that news soon enough, but at this point I just want to wish Trevor all the best and a speedy recovery and return to the field.
