Cubs reveal unexpected Game 2 plan that could define their postseason

After the Chicago Cubs' victory over the San Diego Padres in Game 1 of the National League Wild Card, the team announced that reliever Andrew Kittredge will take the mound in Game 2. Kittredge was one of four Cubs relievers who turned in scoreless outings in Game 1 after Matthew Boyd went 4 1/3 innings with one earned run allowed.

The Cubs are clearly looking to have Kittredge set down the Padres' first three hitters, which were Fernando Tatis Jr., Luis Arraez, and Manny Machado in Tuesday's game.

Andrew Kittredge will start Game 2 of the NL Wild Card Series.
