The Cubs released two players the organization signed to minor league contracts during the off-season, 1B Matt Clark and LHP Nick Greenwood.
Matt Clark was released Friday, March 25. Clark played in nine Cactus League games and was 4-for-12 with a double.
Nick Greenwood made one appearance for the Cubs in a Cactus League game this spring. Greenwood completed one-third of an inning on March 6 against the Diamondbacks. Greenwood was released Saturday, March 26.
