There were three familiar names on the East roster when the Arizona Fall League released the rosters for its annual “Fall Star” game. Cubs prospects Adbert Alzolay, David Bote, and Jake Stinnett have been selected to represent the Mesa Solar Sox in this year’s exhibition.
Alzolay, who we recently looked at as a potential arm to help the Cubs’ bullpen woes, has posted a 0.90 ERA in 10 innings pitched with a 11:3 K:BB ratio. Bote, who our own Todd Johnson profiled as a potential breakout player, has been on fire this fall.
