The Chicago Cubs today announced John Steinmiller has been named the senior director of media relations for the club.
Steinmiller has nearly 20 years of experience in sports communications including the last eight years in the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks media relations department, serving as director since July 2017. Prior to joining the Blackhawks in January 2016, he was part of the basketball communications department with the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA from 2014-16.
